Training model—not a navigation source

Cedar Ridge Municipal is fictional. It represents a non-towered airport within a conceptual Class E surface area. “Class E airport” is convenient shorthand, but the airspace classification is designated around or above the airport; it is not a type of runway or building.

Layout, marking, sign, and airspace concepts follow AC 150/5300-13B, Airport Design, the FAA AIM airport-marking and sign guidance, AIM Class D guidance, AIM airport operations and visual indicators, and AC 150/5340-1M, Standards for Airport Markings. Dimensions are simplified for learning. Always use current charts, airport publications, NOTAMs, ATC instructions, and flight instruction for actual operations.
