Private Pilot ACS practice

Prepare for more than checkride conversation. Learn how the ACS controls the practical test, then practice the exact knowledge, risk-management, skill, and tolerance standards for Airplane Single-Engine Land.

Current source: FAA-S-ACS-6C. Single-engine land questions only; seaplane and other category/class material is excluded.

TWO FOCUSED QUIZZES

Learn how the test works, then learn the standards you must meet

Private Pilot ACS process

ACS codes, required elements, knowledge-test deficiencies, scenarios, evaluator selection, outcomes, and discontinuance.

Private Pilot ASEL standards

ASEL Areas I-IX, XI, and XII, including planning, takeoffs, landings, maneuvers, navigation, stalls, instruments, emergencies, night operations, and postflight.

Why these are separate

The first bank teaches what an evaluator must cover, how oral questioning and scenarios work, what counts as satisfactory or unsatisfactory performance, and what happens when a test is discontinued. The second bank drills the actual single-engine-land Tasks, tolerances, required decisions, and performance standards. Keeping them separate makes a weak score useful: it tells you whether you misunderstand the test process or the flying standard itself.

The Private Pilot quiz follows the ACS model, which integrates aeronautical knowledge, risk management, and flight skill. It uses the current FAA-S-ACS-6C standard and its Airplane Single-Engine Land Tasks.
